Monthly League meetings are held at 7 pm at the Elmhurst Public Library, unless otherwise indicated. The public is welcome to attend any of our General Meetings, which are listed below.
Monthly Board meetings are generally held at 7 pm on the second Thursday of the month. All members of the League are welcome to attend Board meetings.

The Impact of Environmental Policy on Our Community
The speaker, Dale Bryson, who worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for 34 years, will discuss the growing importance and impact of environmental issues now facing us. The Wheaton League has invited us to join them for this program, which will take place at McCormick House at Cantigny, 1 S 151 Winfield Road, Wheaton.

What About Water in Elmhurst?
Speaker: Dennis Streicher, former City of Elmhurst Director of Water/Wastewater, will discuss the Elmhurst Public Water Supply, the annual Consumer Confidence Report, challenges facing todays public water systems, and why we should all feel that our water is safe.

Making a Killing: Guns, Greed and the NRA
Mass shootings and trafficking will be the focus of this evening’s showing. Another short film, Unlabeled: The Most Dangerous Product on the American Market, will also be shown. Discussion will focus on ways to make our voices heard locally and at the State and Federal level.
